We know installing a quality drainage system is a significant project for any homeowner, and you want to be sure it’s worth every penny. With us, you’re paying for lasting peace of mind – not just a quick fix. We don’t claim to be the cheapest; we claim to be the best, using superior materials and craftsmanship that save you money in the long run by avoiding future problems.

In this page, we’ll walk you through how our pricing works, what affects the cost, and why our approach ultimately gives you the best bang for your buck. If you’re shopping around or wondering about the french drain system cost or other drainage system cost for your home, read on.

How Our Process Works

Every drainage project we tackle begins with a free on-site evaluation and quote. Because drainage solutions must be tailored to the specific property, we do not have a one-size-fits-all price list.

1st: Get A Plan

Our drainage experts will assess your property’s needs and design an engineered plan.

2nd: Get Quote

Our detailed quote that outlines recommended solution and the all-inclusive price for the installation.

3rd: Launch Project

A drier foundation means less chance of mold or mildew in your home. In fact, poorly drained yards often contribute to interior mold problems.

4th: Be Flood Free

Get a high-quality, long-lasting solution with no hidden fees or surprises along the way.

Costs For Engineered Drainage Solutions

Our engineered drainage solutions start at approximately $4,500. This base price would cover a smaller-scale project – for instance, a straightforward French drain installation in a moderate-sized trouble area.

Many projects fall in the range of that and upward, depending on complexity. To give context, the average French drain installation cost in Central Florida typically runs between $3,500 and $5,500 for a basic setup. Projects with complications or larger scope can be higher.

Our starting point of ~$4.5k reflects the use of top-quality materials (like solid PVC piping, heavy-duty pumps, etc.) and our dedicated engineering in the design. We’re not the guys who slap in a cheap fix for $1,000 that fails next rainy season – we know your home and peace of mind deserve more than that.

Need Financing?

We understand that a drainage project can be a considerable investment, and not everyone has budgeted for it until the need arises.

That’s why Florida Aqua Solutions has partnered with financing providers so that you can spread out the cost of your project if needed. Depending on approval, you may be able to get low-interest or no-interest promotional plans, making it easier on your wallet.

Additionally, we accept various payment methods for your convenience – including major credit cards, checks, and of course cash.

Our aim is to never let budget constraints force you to live with a water problem that can damage your home. We’ll work with you to find a payment solution that fits, so you can protect your property now and pay over time. When you consider the potential cost of water damage repairs, investing in drainage is a smart move financially.

FAQ

The larger the area that needs drainage, or the more components involved, the higher the cost. A single 30-foot French drain will cost much less than a network of 200 feet of drains with multiple basins and pumps. We scale our design to your property’s size and problem severity. Naturally, longer drains or additional downspout tie-ins require more materials and labor.

The condition of your ground plays a big role. Digging in soft sandy soil is quicker (and thus cheaper) than digging in hard clay or rocky soil that slows us down. If your yard has a lot of tree roots or obstacles (like old stumps, concrete to trench under, etc.), those can add labor time too. Tough soil conditions, such as heavy clay or rocky ground, can increase labor and therefore cost, whereas an open, unobstructed lawn is simpler. Similarly, if we need to restore a lot of landscaping after trenching (replant grass, replace fancy pavers, etc.), that adds some cost – but we’ll include all that in the quote so you know.

Some jobs require extra depth or intricate work. For example, solving a high water table issue might require extra-deep French drains with more gravel, or installing additional sump pump pits. More depth means more excavation and sometimes shoring up trenches for safety. Complex multi-component systems (like a drain leading into a sump, which pumps to a dry well, etc.) involve more installation steps. We account for all this engineering complexity fairly in our pricing.

Yes, we honor all manufacturers warranties and have a one-year warranty on workmanship. We are happy to report that we've never received a call for warranty service after an installation.

We don’t skimp on materials, and that’s a cost factor we’re proud of. The premium PVC pipes, quality pumps, geo-textile filter fabric, and other components we use may cost a bit more than bargain-bin alternatives, but they dramatically improve performance and lifespan. We also may need heavy equipment like trenchers or mini-excavators on bigger jobs – equipment use is factored into the cost. Note that while using high-grade materials can make the initial price a touch higher, it saves you money down the road by avoiding failures. (For instance, a thin corrugated pipe might be cheaper to install but will eventually (usually within 3 to 5 years) collapse or clog, leading to expensive fixes later – we avoid that scenario entirely by using the best materials now.)

If your project requires permits (occasionally needed for certain storm water tie-ins or large-scale earthwork), we handle that process for you. Permit fees and any necessary surveys will be included in your quote. We’ll also ensure the design complies with local codes (for example, setbacks from property lines for discharge points, not blocking natural flow, etc.). Usually permits are not a big cost factor for typical residential drainage, but if applicable, we’ll let you know.
